In the summer of 1937 a group of 13-year old boys from an Italian immigrant Boston neighborhood organized a baseball team and joined a citywide championship series. They won every game leading to the final and then went on to win the championship game in Fenway Park. Four years later they became the Greatest Generation that fought to lead America to victory in WWII.
