For the first time in its 147 year history, the Elmwood Cemetery is hosting a movie screening!   Get exclusive VIP tickets ($40)for a cocktail reception, historical tour led by historian and Elmwood Cemetery Society Board Member, Paul Benson, all followed by the screening of the original FRANKENSTEIN, starring Boris Karloff, and short film CORVALO, directed by Kansas City Filmmaker Anthony Ladesich and starring Michael McQuarry.  VIP ticket holders also get access to a reserved prime seating area for the screening.

Pre-buy GA tickets for $15 (or $20 day of)and receive two drink tickets for  specialty cocktails provided by Holladay Distillery, complimentary popcorn, and the screening of the original  FRANKENSTEIN, starring Boris Karloff, and  short film CORVALO, directed by Kansas City Filmmaker Anthony Ladesich and starring Michael McQuarry

A limited number of tickets are available. Don’t miss watching the original FRANKENSTEIN set in this Hollywood movie worthy cemetery!

VIP Cocktail Reception 5:45PM with historical tour starting at 6PM
GA tickets holders will be admitted beginning at 6:00PM
Movie start at 7PM

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs for seating
Attendees are allowed to bring in food and water.
Free Parking inside the cemetery gates
No outside alcohol is allowed.
No glass is allowed.

  • In the event of rain, the screening will be hosted in the Elmwood Cemetery Armour Chapel
  • In the event of a rain-out due to severe weather, refunds will be issued.
