The Mars Generation (2017, NR)

July 31 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm CDT

It is said that the first person to walk on Mars has already been born. Self-professed teenage “space nerds” at Space Camp chase their dreams of traveling to Mars, while experts reflect on NASA’s history and future.

Central Cinema Nights is a movie screening in the Central Library’s Durwood Film Vault taking place Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Join us as we watch and discuss documentaries and feature films in a socially conscious setting, chosen to fit a monthly theme. This month’s theme: New Horizons.  In celebration of the moon landing’s 50th anniversary, we are exploring the boundaries of the human experience and the endeavors taken to push those horizons a little bit farther.

Everyone is welcome! Movie screenings at the Central Library are always FREE and open to the public.
