As the American Civil War continues to rage, America’s president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves.

Join Mid-Continent Public Library, Truman Library, and CinemaKC for a free screening of Lincoln, the award-winning 2012 film about one of the nation’s most beloved presidents. This screening is part of the Presidents on the Big Screen series and is presented in honor of Abraham Lincoln’s 210th birthday.
