JCCC 50th Anniversary Film Series: ‘Les Contes de la Nuit (Tales of the Night)’

April 19 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm CDT

Celebrate Earth Month and 50 years of JCCC at the movies!

In honor of Earth Month and our ongoing celebration of JCCC’s 50th Anniversary, join staff from the Center for Sustainability for a free screening of Les Contes de la Nuit (Tales of the Night).

The critically acclaimed silhouette animation feature film comprises six allegorical tales of heroism and love as seen through the eyes of two kids and a projection technician with a cool computer. This movie will whisk you away to Medieval Europe, Tibet, the Land of the Dead, the African plains and more. Kristy Howell, Sustainability Education and Engagement Coordinator, will lead a post-movie discussion on ways storytelling can serve as a powerful tool for preserving our relationships to the natural world.

Celebrate and connect all year long! Stay tuned for more 50th Anniversary Film Series events. Interested in hosting your own showing and post-show discussion? Contact Jason Arnett.
