Once a month we’ll explore a corner of a particular genre of film. This summer we’ll dive into Acid Westerns!
Part Three of the ACID WESTERN series is DEADMAN. Accountant William Blake wrestles with violence, industrialization, and the cycle of life and death in this surreal masterpiece. We’ll talk briefly about the acid western’s place as a vehicle for spiritual exploration, as well as its place within the wider western genre.
