Classic, Drama, Comedy, Rom-Com, Shakespeare, Fantasy
This un-abridged fresh take on William Shakespeare’s riotous comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is a tale of wonder, magic, love, and mayhem. It follows the lovers Lysander and Hermia, as they escape to the woods to thwart the wishes of Hermia’s father. Unbeknownst to them, they are followed by Lysander’s rival, Demetrius, who is in turn followed by the infatuated Helena. They then cross paths with the fairy King Oberon and his mischievous servant Puck. Wishing to help them, Oberon dispatches Puck with a love potion. But things do not go as planned, and hilarity ensues. Also there’s a donkey.
