Chasing his dream of a simpler life, John Ubaldo, aka “John Boy,” a successful Wall Street investment banker, called it quits after losing a best friend in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. John went from stock market to farm market and bought 185 acres in upstate N.Y. Seeking to live a quiet life, he wanted to farm the way it was done 100 years ago. His dream to live a traditional agrarian life, though, gets complicated when John comes up against Big Ag and realizes that he is not in sync with today’s prevailing agricultural methods.
