Passes
Kansas City FilmFest offers two types of passes:
| Pass Type | Cost | Goes on Sale |
| Festival Pass | $60 | April 1 |
| Seminar Pass | $30 | At door of each seminar |
Individual Tickets
Kansas City FilmFest offers three types of individual tickets:
| Ticket Type | Cost | Goes on Sale |
| Jubilee Showcase features: “Winter’s Bone” and “A Boy and His Dog.” Not included in festival pass. |
$20 | April 1 |
| Individual Screenings | $10 | April 8 |
| Seminars and workshops | $5 | At door of each seminar. |
Festival Passes
Festival passes include:
- All screenings except “Winter’s Bone” and “A Boy and His Dog.” A separate purchase is required for those two Jubilee Showcase features.
- All seminars, workshops and panels.
- All parties.
A festival pass alone does not gain you entrance to a screening. Festival pass holders must obtain tickets from the AMC Mainstreet box office in person, in advance of any screening. Ticketed patrons, including festival pass holders, must be seated 10 minutes before scheduled start of film; after that, remaining seats will be given to those awaiting available seats in the Rush Line.
Individual Tickets
Individual tickets go on sale April 8 on the FilmFest website or at the AMC Mainstreet box office. Individual tickets cost $10.
Jubilee Showcase: Exceptions to the individual ticket price are two Jubilee Showcase features: “Winter’s Bone” and “A Boy and His Dog.” Tickets to these events cost $20 and are not part of the festival pass. These are fundraising events for Kansas City FilmFest.
Ticketed patrons, including festival pass holders, must be seated 10 minutes before scheduled start of film; after that, remaining seats will be given to those awaiting available seats in the Rush Line.
** If you have been given or won a comp ticket, the comp ticket itself does not guarantee a seat. Comp tickets must be redeemed for an actual ticket at the AMC Mainstreeet box office.
Seminar and Workshop Access
- Festival pass holders have free access to all seminars and workshops.
- Access is free for those with a valid student ID.
- Individual tickets to seminars and workshops are available for $5 at the door.
- Seminar workshop tickets are NOT available online or at the AMC Mainstreet box office.
Volunteer Ticketing
- Volunteers who work a minimum of six hours will receive a free festival pass. (This does not include “Winter’s Bone” and “A Boy and His Dog.”)
- Volunteers who work less than six hours will receive one screening or seminar ticket for each two hour shift. (This does not include “Winter’s Bone” and “A Boy and His Dog.”)
- Volunteers can attend the screening or seminar they work during an assigned work shift, if there is space available. Join the Rush Line for volunteers and you may be seated 10 minutes before each event, after regular patrons are seated.
