2009 Festival Strategies Panel

An informal, salon-meets-town hall setting, from the centrifuge of professionals working in Kansas City, as they interact with visiting filmmakers, students and the community. This will be a frank, open discussion on how we can unify and build our local film and television industry, work together to share insight, create and lobby for more incentives and use the “while the iron is hot” philosophy to bring more production to our region.

A master educator and internationally reknown film preservationist, Rosen will explore how narrative can be compelling and entertaining.

They have been adopted by indie filmmakers in droves because their high resolution and large sensor size looks very close to 35mm film. A new Canon with this feature has just been released that costs $799. But these cameras aren’t perfect. So to make them work properly, you have to jump through hoops.
