Reel Spirit: Young Filmmaker Showcase 2012 celebrated the productions of over 130 young filmmakers ranging in age from 8-14 years in two different showcases. We would just like to take this time to thank all of the volunteers that gave so freely of their time this year to help with the Festival.
[ May 4th, 2012 12:00 pm to May 5th, 2012 12:00 am. ] The first ever Werewolf, Therian, Shifter, and Otherkin conference will take place May of 2012 at the Midway Exposition Center just outside Columbia. Missouri. Our goal is to make the first such a success that it continues to grow bigger and better with every passing year.

Sunday, the final day of the festival, starts out at noon with the KCWIFT & AMC Theatres® KC FilmFest Short Screenplay Contest Staged Reading event at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Atkins Auditorium. The contest finalists will gauge audience reaction to their screenplays read by professional actors.
