Failing students are given “vitamins” that promise to improve their grade. Soon they are doing very good in school. As time goes on, the effect of the vitamins becomes more sinister.

: I was wondering what the audience's opinion of "Winter's Bone" was after the premiere 04/14/10. The critics have loved it and to take TWO awards at Sundance 2010 and sice two at The Berlin Film Festival-I think npr is correct-it is a modern day "True Grit"-a modern classic.

: Thanks again for screening my film, "James Polk." Sorry to see it didn't win any awards, but then again, I wasn't surprised. There were a lot of films way better than it. It was a first effort, and so-so at that. But someday I'll do a film that'll REALLY raise some eyebrows.
