Sarah Price
Sarah Price is an award-winning director/producer whose films include the feature documentaries Summercamp! (Argot Pictures 2007), The Yes Men (United Artists/MGM 2004), Caesar’s Park (Sundance Channel 2001) and American Movie (Sony Pictures Classics 1999). She recently co-produced Chai Vasarhelyi’s documentary on world-renown African singer Youssou N’dour, entitled I Bring What I Love, theatrical release slated for summer 2009. Additional directing work includes a music video for Warner Bros. recording artist Har Mar Superstar, and artist David Robbins’TV variety show, The Ice Cream Social (the MOMA-Paris 2004). Other notable credits include co-editor of Chris Smith’s American Job (Sundance Int’l Film Festival 1996), sound on Michael Moore’s The Big One (Miramax 1997), and segment producer for IFC’s Split Screen. In 2002 she began documenting the re-opening of schools in Afghanistan with UNICEF and is currently in post-production. She served as a juror for the 2006 HBO/Comedy Arts Festival, the 2006 IFP-Minnesota McKnight Artist Fellowship, the 2007 Austin Film Society’s Texas Filmmakers Production Fund, and 2008 AFI/Discovery Channel SILVERDOCS festival. She currently teaches as a visiting artist at UMKC.
